The Uninvited is a remake of the 2003 South Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters. It is due to be released in the USA on January 30th, 2009. The Australian release date is March 26th, 2009.


Anna Rydell (Emily Browning) returns home to her father (David Strathairn) and sister, Alex (Arielle Kebbel), after spending time in the hospital following the tragic death of her mother (Maya Massar). Her recovery suffers a setback when she discovers her father has become engaged to her mother's former nurse, Rachael (Elizabeth Banks). That night, Anna is visited by the ghost of her mother, who warns her of Rachael's intentions. Together, Anna and Alex try to convince their father that his current fiancée is not who she pretends to be, and what should have been a happy family reunion becomes a lethal battle of wills between stepdaughters and stepmother.

Knowing is a science fiction film directed by Alex Proyas and starring Nicolas Cage. It was filmed in Melbourne, Australia, but set in Boston. The film is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2009 in the USA and March 26th in Australia.


A teacher (Cage) opens a time capsule that has been dug up at his son's elementary school; in it are some chilling predictions -- some that have already occurred and others that are about to -- that lead him to believe his family plays a role in the events that are about to unfold.

12 Rounds John Cena


12 Rounds is a 2009 film directed by Renny Harlin and produced by WWE Studios. The cast is led by professional wrestler John Cena, alongside Steve Harris, Gonzalo Menendez, Aidan Gillen, Brian J. White, Ashley Scott, and Taylor Cole. Filming took place in New Orleans between February 25 and May 12, 2008. The film is scheduled to be released on March 27, 2009, in the USA. The Australian release date is March 26th.

Detective Danny Fisher (John Cena) is about to have the worst day of his life. A nearly untraceable internationally-known terrorist named Miles Jackson (Aidan Gillen) has kidnapped his girlfriend Molly Porter (Ashley Scott) and forced him into "12 Rounds" of dangerous games carefully plotted throughout the streets of New Orleans. Danny struggles to keep focus while the obvious ticking clocks and crude consequences that accompany each one of these "rounds" do their best to derail him from rescuing the love of his life before it's too late.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas in the United States) is a British–American 2008 drama film directed by Mark Herman and produced by David Heyman, starring Asa Butterfield, David Thewlis and Vera Farmiga. It is based on the book of the same name by Irish novelist John Boyne.


Bruno is an eight-year-old German boy who leads a very comfortable life in Berlin during the Second World War. His father is a high ranking Nazi officer, and things change when the family has to move due to his father’s new post. In his innocence, Bruno sees the nearby concentration camp as a ‘farm’ and wonders why its inhabitants are always wearing striped pajamas. Eventually Bruno becomes friends with a Jewish boy his own age who lives on the other side of the fence.

When a shopping mall is overtaken by a gang of organized crooks, it's up to the mild-mannered security guard to save the day.

Terminator 4: Salvation

Terminator Salvation is the much anticipated 4th instalment in the Terminator franchise directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol (known as McG). It is the first film not to feature Arnold Schwarzenegger, and does not revolve around a terminator travelling through time to try and kill John Connor.
It stars Christian Bale as John Connor and Sam Worthington as the cyborg Marcus Wright. It also introduces a young version of the first film's hero, Kyle Reese, played by Anton Yelchin. The film, set in 2018, focuses on the war between humanity and Skynet. It will be released in the USA on may 22nd. The Australian release date is June 4th
