The Sorcerer and the White Snake, previously known as, It's Love and Madame White Snake is an upcoming film directed by Ching Siu-tung and starring Jet Li. It is based on the Chinese Legend of the White Snake.

White Snake (Huang Shengyi), in the incarnation of a beautiful lady, falls in love with a young herbalist by the name of Xu Xian (Raymond Lam). With the help of Green Snake (Charlene Choi), she ventures into the human world and gets married to Xu Xian. In a twist of fate though, Fa Hai (Jet Li), a sorcerer from Jin Shan Temple, crosses path with White Snake. A fiery battle is about to begin...

The Avengers

The Avengers is an upcoming American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It was announced in April 2005 and is based upon the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which crosses over several Marvel superhero films including Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011) and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). The film is written and directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, and Chris Evans. The Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012, in 3D.


Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to fight an enemy threatening the world with destruction.
Development of The Avengers began when Marvel Studios received a grant from Merrill Lynch in 2005. After the success of the film Iron Man, Marvel announced that The Avengers would be released in July 2011. With the signing of actors Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson, the film was pushed back for a 2012 release.

The Avengers will be released worldwide on May 3rd/4th 2012.

In the 19th century, the Prince Regent of the Qing Dynasty orders the mass execution of the entire Meng clan. Before his beheading, the leader vows that his family will avenge this travesty of justice. Awaiting his death, a five-year-old Meng boy named Erkui bravely sings an aria. The power and purity of his voice touches the opera star Master Yu and his seven-year-old pupil Guan Yilong. Master Yu rescues the boy and the two orphans become brothers. Years later, Master Yu wins the coveted golden “The Mightiest Warrior” plaque from the Prince Regent, but subsequently loses it in a duel with his archrival Master Yue. Banished from the stage upon his loss, Master Yu spends his time training the two brothers in the village. When the boys grow into men, they set off for Shanghai to pursue revenge. Once they reach Shanghai, they quickly defeat Master Yue, reclaiming not only the plaque but also taking over the Yue’s opera troupe.


The film will be released in Australia on September 15th, 2011. The trailer is below:

Captain America: The First Avenger is an upcoming 2011 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Captain America. The film is being directed by Joe Johnston, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans as Captain America. The film will be the fifth instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film is scheduled for release on July 22, 2011 in the USA and July 28th in Australia.

In 1942, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is deemed physically unfit to enlist in the U.S. Army and fight the Nazis in World War II. Volunteering instead for Project: Rebirth, a secret military operation, he is physically transformed into a super-soldier dubbed Captain America. With sidekick Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), he fights the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving), Hitler's treacherous head of advanced weaponry, whose own plan for world domination involves a seemingly magical object known as the Tesseract.

Conan the Barbarian 3D

Conan the Barbarian, previously titled Conan 3D, is an upcoming 3-D sword and sorcery film based on the character Conan the Barbarian created by Robert E. Howard. It is a new adaptation, separate from the earlier 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger films. The film is set to star Jason Momoa in the lead role, being supported by Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Bob Sapp and Rachel Nichols, with Marcus Nispel directing.
The film had spent seven years in development at Warner Bros. before the rights were shifted to Nu Image/Millennium Films in 2007, with a clause wishing for immediate start on production. Lionsgate and Sony Pictures entered negotiations for distribution, with the film seeing many directors, prominently Brett Ratner, before settling on Nispel in 2009 and has since brought together a cast and crew. The film will be released on August 19, 2011 in the USA and Australia.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon
is the third and final film in the Transformers film series, directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. It is the sequel to Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and is scheduled for release on July 01 (US), 2011, in Real D 3D, regular 2D theaters and IMAX. The Australian release date in June 30th.
