Beerfest is a comedy film by Broken Lizard (Super Troopers). The plot of the film revolves around two brothers who travel to Germany for Oktoberfest, only to stumble upon secret, centuries-old competition described as a Fight Club with beer games. They get beaten badly by the Germans and then come back to the United States in order to put together a team of the greatest drinkers across the land.
Along with the regular members of Broken Lizard, other actors who will appear in the movie include Jürgen Prochnow, Blanchard Ryan, Will Forte, Eric Christian Olsen, and Cloris Leachman.
Beerfest was filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is due for release on Friday in the US and 28th September in Australia.
