Starring Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Candice Bergen, Bride Wars is a romantic comedy film scheduled for release on January 9th, 2009 in the USA and January 15th in Australia.
Kate and Anne play Liv and Emma, best friends who mimic each other's lives, even hoping their boyfriends will propose so they can plan their weddings together. They get their wish, and both girls arrange similar weddings at the same venue. However, a mix up results in both weddings being scheduled for the same day, and one of the girls must change dates or venues. Neither one is prepared to give an inch, and the two best friends become bitter rivals continuously trying to outdo or sabotage one another's plans. It all culminates on the big day, where anything could happen!
