Brideshead Revisited

Brideshead Revisited is the film adaptation of the novel written by Evelyn Waugh in 1945. It stars Matthew Goode and Emma Thompson and will be released in Australia on October 23rd.

The story follows Captain Charles Ryder (Matthew Goode), who is stationed at Brideshead during World War 2. Ryder develops interesting relationships with the Marchmain family at their grand estate, headed by the family the matriarch Lady Marchmain (Emma Thompson).

Most fascinating of all is the brother and sister combination of Sebastian and Julia. Ryder falls in love with Julia, but an unexpected love triangle develops.
