Devil (also known as The Night Chronicles: Devil) is a 2010 supernatural film thriller written by Brian Nelson and directed by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. It is produced by M. Night Shyamalan. The film will be released in Australia on December 1st, 2010, and will be the first of The Night Chronicles trilogy, which involves the supernatural within the modern urban society.
Set in an office building, five strangers are riding in an elevator when they suddenly find themselves trapped. After several terrifying and inexplicable events occur, such as the local fire department unable to open the elevator, the people begin to turn against each other when they begin to suspect that one of them is in fact, the Devil.
