In this follow-up to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, the focus falls on the character of Lisbeth Salander. Accused of a triple murder, she is drawn into tangled web of intrigue that leads back to her murky past, while Mikael Blomkvist does everything in his power to prove that she is innocent.

Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace continue to play the leading roles, accompanied by a very notable ensemble, including Lena Endre, Peter Andersson and Per Oscarsson. The experienced Daniel Alfredson directs.

The Kids Are All Right

The Kids Are All Right is a 2010 comedy film directed by Lisa Cholodenko who together with Stuart Blumberg wrote the screenplay. The story centers on a lesbian couple, Jules (Julianne Moore) and Nic (Annette Bening), who each gave birth to a child using the same anonymous sperm donor. When the older child, Joni (Mia Wasikowska), turns eighteen, her brother Laser (Josh Hutcherson), asks her to contact the sperm bank in order to meet their biological father, Paul (Mark Ruffalo).

The film will be released in Australia on August 26th, 2010.

The Nothing Men

Starring David Field, Colin Friels and Martin Dingle Wall.

As a hardened crew of factory workers struggle to see out the last two weeks before their redundancy windfalls, panic runs through the ranks with the arrival of a mysterious man (Field) sent to join them. Suddenly fearful that their drinking and gambling will be exposed by the head-office “spy” and rob them of their money, top dog Jack (Friels) and the men descend into a compelling world of antagonism and brutality. When the pacifist of the group, Wesley (Dingle Wall) befriends the outsider, Wesley discovers his dark secret, a secret that will seal the fate of all the Nothing Men.

On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications. From director David Fincher and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin comes The Social Network, a film that proves you don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies. The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca, and Cean Chaffin and based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires" by Ben Mezrich.

The Social Network will be releaesd in the USA on October 1st, 2010. The Australian release date is November 25th.

Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all – looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity – and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating “aggressively unattractive” classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra Hilferty (Mary Kate Olsen), inviting her to the school’s extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is within one year – a task he considers impossible. Repulsed by his appearance, Kyle’s callous father (Peter Krause) banishes him to Brooklyn with a sympathetic housekeeper (Lisa Gay Hamilton) and blind tutor (Neil Patrick Harris).

As Kyle ponders how to overcome the curse and get his old life back, he chances upon a drug addict in the act of killing a threatening dealer. The film is written and directed by Floria Sigismondi, and stars Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, Stella Maeve as Sandy West, Scout Taylor-Compton as Lita Ford, and Michael Shannon as Kim Fowley.

The film is partially based on lead-singer Cherie Currie's 1989 autobiography Neon Angel: The Cherie Currie Story which details her fractured childhood, the group's meteoric rise to fame, and her subsequent battle and recovery from drug and alcohol addiction
