Is There Anybody There? tells the story of Edward, a 10 year old boy living in an old peoples home run by his parents. Surrounded by death and dying, he becomes obsessed with ghosts and finding evidence of the after life. Edward's life is rather lonely, until Clarence (Michael Caine) arrives at the home - a retired magician with early stages of dementia, and a cheeky streak on anarchy. The pair embark on adventures and develop an unlikely friendship, which ultimately leads them both to come to terms with there respective situations.
