Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer

Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer is a comedy film based on Megan McDonald's Judy Moody book series. It stars Jordana Beatty as a third grader named Judy Moody who sets out to have the most thrilling summer of her life.

After school finishes for the summer third grader, Judy Moody sets out to have the most thriller summer of her life. However, her parents are going away to California, and she and her brother, Stink, are staying home with their Aunt Opal. She decides to make a "Thrill Points" list for herself and her friends to go by: "The Judy Moody Mega-Rare NOT a Bummer Summer Dare". But her plan backfires when she discovers her friends are getting more thrill points than her. To keep up her not-bummer summer goal, she, along with awesome Aunt Opal, decides to help Stink catch Bigfoot.

Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer will be released in Australia on October 27th, 2011. The trailer is below:

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (often referred to as Spy Kids 4D, also known as Spy Kids 4: Armageddon and Spy Kids 4D: Armageddon) is an upcoming American action-adventure and mystery family film directed by Robert Rodriguez and the fourth installment in the Spy Kids series.

On the surface, Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) seems to have it all. She's married to famous, spy-hunting TV reporter Wilbur (Joel McHale) and has a new baby and a pair of bright, competitive stepchildren. But Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook) make it clear they don't want her around, and Wilbur wouldn't know a spy if he was living with one.

In fact, that's exactly what he is doing. But retired spy Marissa's life of domesticity comes to an abrupt end when she's recalled by the OSS, home of the now-defunct Spy Kids division, after the maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) unleashes a plot to take over the planet by stopping time.

Resourceful Rebecca and Cecil find themselves drawn into the deadly mission, assisted by a pair of familiar spy kids: Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabara). But can the squabbling siblings prevent Armageddon and reunite their troubled family?

Spy Kids 4D will be released in Australia on September 15th 2011. Watch the preview below:

Puss in Boots

Puss In Boots is a 3D computer-animated adventure film being produced by DreamWorks Animation, directed by Chris Miller (who directed Shrek the Third in 2007), executive produced by Guillermo del Toro, starring Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, and written by Tom Wheeler. It is set to be released in theaters November 4, 2011 in Real D 3D and IMAX 3D. The Australian release date is September 15th.

The film is a spinoff prequel to the Shrek series and it follows the character Puss in Boots on his adventures before his first appearance in 2004's Shrek 2. Accompanied by his sidekicks, Humpty Dumpty and Kitty Softpaws, he tries to save the world from the two murderous outlaws called Jack and Jill, who discovered an ancient power that can destroy the world.

The story takes place before Puss (played by Antonio Banderas) met Shrek, when he was a swashbuckling hero who protected the innocent. A bunch of old pub thugs tell him that two murderous outlaws called Jack and Jill have discovered an ancient power that can destroy the world. Puss then sets off on a journey with his old friend Humpty Dumpty who also introduces him to Kitty Softpaws, a sly black cat who takes an interest in Puss's journey. With his new sidekicks, Puss sets off on his most adventurous and dangerous journey ever.

The Smurfs

The Smurfs, also known as The Smurfs Movie, is a 3D live-action/CGI family film directed by Raja Gosnell, written by J. David Stem and David N. Weiss, and stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Hank Azaria, and Sofía Vergara.
Produced by Jordan Kerner, the film will be distributed by Columbia Pictures. It will be the first CGI/live-action hybrid film in The Smurfs franchise.

Set in the Middle Ages, the evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) discovers the Smurfs' village and chases them into a wooded area. The Smurfs get scattered and Clumsy Smurf (voiced by Anton Yelchin) wanders into a "forbidden" grotto and some of the other Smurfs follow. Since it's also a blue moon, a magical portal within the grotto transports them into present-day Central Park in New York. They take shelter with married couple Patrick and Grace Winslow (Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays) and try to find a way back to their village before Gargamel finds them.

The Smurfs in 3D will be released in the USA on July 29th, 2011. The Australian release date is September 15th. Here is the trailer:

Rio

Rio is a computer-animated film from 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios. It is directed by Carlos Saldanha and written by Don Rhymer. The characters are voiced by Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Rodrigo Santoro, Kate del Castillo, Jamie Foxx, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Leslie Mann, Jemaine Clement, Neil Patrick Harris and Robin Thicke. The film is expected to release on April 8, 2011. (worldwide)

Under development for years, Rio is considered "Brazilian-born Saldanha's dream project". Saldanha reported that the film will be more musical than his comedic Ice Age movies.

Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) is a rare species of blue macaw resident at a bookstore in Minnesota, who believes he is the last of his kind. When he learns that another macaw was spotted in South America, and that the macaw, Jewel (Anne Hathaway), is female, he leaves Minnesota and travels to Rio de Janeiro to meet her. While there, he learns to confront his fear of flying in order to win her heart. Along the way, they get kidnapped by thieves who plan to sell them for a fortune. After they escape, they try to avoid the thieves with help from a wise Toucan (George Lopez), a hungry bulldog (Tracy Morgan), Linda, Blu's owner (Leslie Mann), an obese redhead (Will.I.Am) and a small yellow canary (Jamie Foxx) and also avoid the thieves pet white cockatoo, Nigel (Jemaine Clement).

Yogi Bear in 3D

Yogi Bear is an upcoming 3D live-action/CGI film adaptation of the hit Hanna-Barbera cartoon series, The Yogi Bear Show. It is scheduled for release on November 26, 2010 in the United Kingdom and on December 17, 2010 in the United States. The Australian release date is January 13th, 2011.

The film features Dan Aykroyd in the film as Yogi Bear along with Justin Timberlake as Boo-Boo Bear. Preceding the film will be a new 3D short with Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner titled "Rabid Rider

Shrek Forever After

Shrek Forever After, formerly known as Shrek 4, Shrek 4Ever After, Shrek: The Final Chapter, and previously titled Shrek Goes Fourth is planned to be released in cinemas May 21, 2010 in the US and July 9, 2010 in the UK and Australia. The main cast members will all return. It will also be released in 3-D and IMAX 3-D theaters.
