From the creators of 'Scary Movie' and 'Date Movie' comes this tongue-in-cheek parody of the sword-and-sandal epics, dubbed 'Meet the Spartans'.
Meet the Spartans is a spoof comedy film written and directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, due for release in 2008 by 20th Century Fox. It spoofs at least eight films, and it also parodies George W. Bush, Lindsay Lohan, American Idol's Sanjaya Malakar, Ryan Seacrest, Kevin Federline, and Britney Spears. It will be released on January 25th, 2008 in the USA. The Australian release date is 28th February, 2008.
