The Taking of Pelham 123



Tony Scott directs this remake of the Walter Matthau-starring thriller from 1978. This Columbia Pictures production pits a transit cop (Denzel Washington) against a group of hijackers lead by John Travolta, who take over a subway train in order to rake in a hefty ransom.


Pelham 1 2 3 will be released in the USA on June 12th, 2009. The Australian release date is August 27th. You can see the trailer below.
