The film will be a chronicle of the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members. The characters will be the same as the early Star Trek series.

The teaser trailer for Star Trek 11 is below.

Cast:
• Chris Pine as James T. Kirk. The actor dropped out of starring in a film adaptation of White Jazz to take on the role. Pine said he wanted to evoke Kirk's characteristics, but not completely replicate William Shatner's performances. "My job is to take something new, to take that and build upon it, really do my own thing," he said. "I just feel no pressure when it comes to that."
• Zachary Quinto as the young Spock. Leonard Nimoy will also reprise the role of the older Spock. For the role, Quinto shaved his eyebrows, and spent three hours a day having pointed ears and large earlobes applied, so as to match Nimoy's appearance.
• Karl Urban as Leonard McCoy
• Simon Pegg as Montgomery Scott
• Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov
• Zoë Saldaña as Uhura
• John Cho as Hikaru Sulu

Deja Vu Movie Trailer

November 13th 2006 03:58
Déjà Vu is a science fiction crime thriller directed by Tony Scott and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film will have a wide release in North America on November 22, 2006. The Australian release date is December 21st.

Everyone has experienced the unsettling mystery of déjà vu--that flash of memory when you meet someone new you feel you've known all your life or recognize a place even though you've never been there before. But what if the feelings were actually warnings sent from the past or clues to the future? It is déjà vu that unexpectedly guides Doug Carlin through an investigation into a shattering crime.

Denzel Washington plays Doug Carlin, an ATF agent who is called in to recover evidence in the investigation of a New Orleans ferry bombing and experiences a revelation that could allow him to save hundreds of innocent people.

Filming was delayed following Hurricane Katrina because a key sequence involving a ferry was based around the New Orleans location. After the hurricane, the cast and crew have returned to New Orleans to continue filming. They also spent two weeks filming a scene at a local bayou, Four Mile Bayou, in Morgan City, Louisiana.

The screenplay sold for 5 million dollars, one of the highest spec sales of all-time.
