Shorts is an upcoming family comedy/adventure film directed and written by Robert Rodriguez. It involves an 11 year old boy named Toe Thompson (Jimmy Bennett) who lives in a normal neighbourhood in the town of Black Falls with a normal life at school including bullies that give him a hard time.

One day the boy discovers a multi-coloured rock which grants wishes to whoever holds it. Then things start to become anything but normal, as scheming kids and adults alike seek to get their hands on the magic rock.

Shorts will be released in the USA on August 21st, 2009. The Australian release date is September 17th. View the trailer below.
