Star Wars: The Clone Wars
March 24th 2008 10:45
Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an upcoming 3D CGI animated film set to release on August 15, 2008. It will be the first Star Wars film to be released to theatres since 2005's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and will be the first animated Star Wars feature film in theatres. It will also be the first film in the series not to be released by 20th Century Fox (Warner Bros. Pictures will handle distribution on behalf of co-production partner Cartoon Network). The film will lead the way for an animated series to air on Cartoon Network. It will be released on August 15th in the USA and August 14th in Australia.
On the front lines of an intergalactic struggle between good and evil, fans young and old will join such favourite characters as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala, along with brand-new heroes like Anakin’s padawan learner, Ahsoka. Sinister villains – led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grievous – are poised to rule the galaxy. Stakes are high, and the fate of the Star Wars universe rests in the hands of the daring Jedi Knights. Their exploits lead to the action-packed battles and astonishing new revelations that fill STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS.

Of course I will have to go and see it as I am a fan and need to know what they will do with the plot line, because I have children and it is my duty to make sure that they are being 'programmed' properly *chuckle*
Otherwise this looks like it may be a nice divertive variation on a pretty good theme and rather entertaining (in the ture sence of the word : escapism), on the big screen.
Thanks for the heads up.

If you brace yourself for a disappointment, then chances are - that's what you'll get.
Star Wars, Clone Wars, Animation style: it's going to rock!
